Carlie and I were best friends in High School. We were loud, (slightly) irreverent and obnoxious. And we loved every minute of it. The years and physical distance have made it so we aren’t as close as we once were, but we have the kind of friendship that will always be important to me. I love her and have loved watching her life play out over the years. Erik and Georgia are lucky to have her, and vice versa.

We got together in late fall to do their family portraits. Even though they don’t live here any more, we did their photos in our home town of Logan, Ut on a picturesque street in downtown. They way they love their little girl is amazing and her love back for mom and dad is so apparent. I love getting to capture relationships like these!
