I had a cool full circle moment when I stepped outside of their reception to take photos of their rings and flowers in the beautiful natural light.
Just a few months prior, I was photographing Noelles cousins wedding. I stepped outside to photograph the rings in natural light and found the best light was over by a cute girl sitting on some steps talking on her phone. I found a place out of her way, to take the photos I needed. I was within ear shot of the girl and could hear she was on a FaceTime call with her soon to be finance who was traveling at the time. They had been apart for a little bit and were excited to get to be talking to one another. I could tell they were soon to be engaged because of the way they were talking about when it was their turn to plan a wedding…. not that I was listening or anything 🙂
So when the inquiry came into my inbox from a girl who said I had just shot her cousins wedding, I knew it was the girl from the FaceTime call.
Im so glad Noelle knew she would be getting engaged soon and paid attention to how I was working on Claires wedding day. She said she was impressed with how well I handled the crowd and loved all the photos she saw from her cousin.
I genuinely loved working with Adam and Noelle. Like looked forward to their shoots and their wedding day and was sad when the wedding day was over. But I still keep in touch with Noelle through social media, so im not cut off from her all together.
