Reuniting after three years for family pics
Getting family photos taken by a professional photographer should be viewed as an opportunity for a fun experience together as a family, especially for family who hasn’t seen each other in a while. I love watching seeing extended family reunite for a photo session and getting to document their excitement about being with loved ones, just like the Kelley family did for this lovely family photo session in Tony Grove up Logan Canyon!
The parents of the Kelley bunch had just returned home from a mission to El Salvador and since all their kids are now grown up and married, they needed some updated family photos, which I was eager to provide. As soon as they started talking about how much they missed the lush green of Utah, and how desperate they were for a beautiful location with lots of varied settings, I immediately thought of Tony Grove just outside of Logan, Utah. It’s a great option for all in Northern Utah to take advantage of for family pictures!
This entire family was just so happy to be together and seemed to have a blast during the shoot, which always delivers beautiful photos in return. It’s a real treat to photograph such a loving family in a lovely setting such as Tony Grove. The backdrops of these photos are some of my favorite ever!
