Sweet & wilde
I absolutely adore these photos I captured for the Wilde family! I met them at Providence Canyon in northern Utah for this beautiful mini session.
The four boys were such troopers during this family photo session. I have two boys of my own, and I know that kids aren’t always interested in taking pictures. In fact, they’d usually rather be doing anything BUT taking photos, haha. But all moms know, we just want to capture our kids as they grow up. I especially love mini sessions for families with a lot of young kids. Their attention span is usually pretty small, but my family sessions are more about capturing personalities than perfect smiles.
I had so much fun during this session watching the family’s natural dynamic together. The older boys were so sweet and helpful for their youngest brother. They made faces and called to him from behind the camera to keep him smiling. Mom and dad clearly adore all of their boys and I could feel the love between them during our short session together.
The Wildes are also a great example of picking outfits for a family session! They are well coordinated without feeling too matchy-matchy. I love that each person’s outfit suited their personality well while also feeling cohesive. I think it’s so important that each person actually look and feel like themselves during a family photo session. Thanks again to the Wilde family for having me capture these special memories for you! I hope these pictures will become a family heirloom for years to come.
