a favorite location for this adorable fam!

The Latva family gets their family pictures taken every year, but due to their usual photographer being unavailable, they reached out to me. They found me on Pinterest, and felt my style best suited what they were looking for. They are such a beautiful family and I was so excited to shoot them!

Lady Finger Point at Antelope Island is one of my favorite places to shoot because it ALWAYS turns out gorgeous sunsets and the scenery is unlike anything else. The Latva family had never been to Antelope Island before and I think they really enjoyed it! They are a very loving, playful family which resulted in some of my favorite family pictures I’ve ever taken, even with the relentless mosquitoes that just wouldn’t leave us alone! That’s one downside of Antelope Island, but when the payoff is the documentation of this stage of your family through yearly family photos, I think we can all agree it’s worth it!

Families like this make it really easy for me to do my job. You can tell they love each other and that makes it easy for me to capture the real, raw emotions of their relationships that make life so beautiful.
