I love getting to work with couples from the engagement (even the proposal if you book with me before you propose!), all the way to the wedding day. I know that is something that is important for some people and less important for others, but I always love it. Getting to know you, and earn your trust is something that makes my job so incredible. Not only do you trust me, but we become friends! I want to be your ally – someone you know will capture your sweet memories, and make you look good all along the way. 🙂
Getting to work with Austin and Madison was so exciting. From the moment I started shooting their engagement photos, I could tell these two were madly in love. They chose me because I was able to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera, but together, they were naturals! Everyone needs some direction in posing, but I can’t give you direction on how to love each other. That is the true magic in a photo – seeing the way you feel about that person in the photo with you. It was exciting for me to capture that for them, and I was almost as excited for them to get married as they were!;) Their wedding day was on a cold, but insanely beautiful day in Logan. They were married in the Logan LDS Temple, and their colors matched the blue-grey sky and lighting so perfectly. That night, they had their reception at the Mendon Train Station which is an old train station that has been converted to a very quaint, and rustic reception center. It was so simple, and beautiful, just like Maddy & Austin. I am so happy for these two, and know they are going to have so many fun adventures as Mr. and Mrs.
