I met Meghan when we went on an Oregon Coast road trip a few years ago. I had the crazy idea to roadtrip to Oregon and do a few styled shoots. I was new enough in the industry that I didnt know a lot of other photographers, so I brought up the idea on a networking group on facebook and was blown away by the response! So many other crazy people who were willing to hop in a car with people they didnt know and drive to Oregon.
I was so excited and flattered when Meghan asked me to do family photos for her! She is also a photographer, and I always take it as a compliment when other photographers ask me to do photos for them. Not only that, but they live 2 hours away and have plenty of other options of photographers closer to them. She told me that she was really looking forward to having candid photos of her family just being themselves in “real deal moments”. Again, super flattered that she picked me as their photographer because that is what im ALL ABOUT! She said she wanted to remember how much silliness and laughter they have as a family right now and how her kids are absolute best friends. We honestly had a total blast shooting and when she got her photos back, Megan said “They are beyond amazing! I dont even have words to explain how perfect they are! Thank you so much for these treasures! How in the world and I going to decide which ones to hang on the wall?!”
