Thomas & Elise Wedding Formals | San Diego Wedding Photographer

Uncategorized

I LOVE the California coast and I have been flown out to shoot there TWICE this year and you have no idea how happy that makes me! I shot Mitch and Julias San Diego LDS Temple Wedding at the beginning of the year and Julias friend Elise saw the photos I did for them and fell in love (color me flattered!) Elise grew up in the San Diego area with Julia, and had her wedding at the San Diego LDS Temple a few years ago as well, but she wasn’t very happy with the way her photos turned out. You’ll never see me bash another photographer, but I will say this – make sure you do your research when you hire a wedding photographer and dont just hire someone because of budget or simply because you’ve seen pretty pictures they’ve done! Elise said that her photographer didn’t really seem to know what she was doing and it really showed in the photos. The advice I give people is to ASK QUESTIONS. How long have they been photographing weddings? What kind of equipment do they use and do they have back ups? What do they consider to be their strengths as a photographer? Are they comfortable shooting in all different types of lighting scenarios? and most importantly – ASK TO SEE REVIEWS! Im happy to say ive never received a negative review and I have 55+ positive reviews to show people!

So Elise contacted me and we planned a shoot back at the temple where she was sealed a few years prior, as well as windansea beach in La Jolla. I envy La Jolla wedding photographers cause they have the most beautiful beaches to work with! I flew out the morning of our shoot and brought my husband along for a mini get away and the whole trip was heaven! Thomas and Elise were the most lovely people and it was really nice knowing that they valued what I do enough to fly me out there and have their photos redone. I LOVE what we got!
