Can you even believe how gorgeous these formal wedding photos turned out?! I mean, come on. *insert heart eye emojis here.* As you can see from these photos, Tyler and Nicole are a stunning couple. I was also able to take their engagement photos a few months back, and I’m so grateful they trusted me to capture their formals as well! I love couples who I get to work with again and again.
Nicole and Tyler are both students at the University of Utah in Logan, Utah. Nicole is studying both finance and MIS, and Tyler is going into electrical engineering. They were so much fun to hang out with! And because I know you’re going to wonder, Nicole got her dress from Latter Day Bride. Isn’t it absolutely stunning? Her makeup was done by her sister-in-law, Emili Jones, who is a makeup artist. Nicole was such a beautiful bride! She was glowing the entire evening.
We took Tyler and Nicole’s photos at the Spiral Jetty of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. As you can tell from the photos, it’s a seriously gorgeous location, especially during golden hour. The Spiral Jetty is one of my favorite places to shoot! It’s quite the drive out there, but it’s always worth it. The black rocks leading up to the water almost make the location look like a Hawaiian island. Couple that with the sunsets out there, and this location is pretty hard to beat!
I’m so happy that I was able to work with Tyler and Nicole! Taking formal wedding photos is a really special way to capture the love and energy of your wedding in a unique location, and that’s exactly what we did. It was a perfect day!
