Isn’t this family so beautiful? The Days are some of the best people. I am lucky enough to have been able to work with them more than once. I initially met the Day family when I shot Tausha and Jordan’s wedding a few years ago. I was so happy to get to see them again and do their family portraits. I’ve said it before (and I will definitely say it again) but I love returning clients. It means so much that my clients will choose me again and again to capture their special moments.
When discussing locations with the Day family, they mentioned to me that they would love a mountain background. So naturally, we headed up to one of my favorite places to shoot (and visit!): Tony Grove. It’s one of those locations that is absolutely worth every second of the time it takes to get there. Tony Grove is near Logan, Utah in the Cache National Forest. There are lots of natural variations to the landscape here, which makes it great to shoot at. We were able to get photos in front of the mountains, the lake, and some pretty groves of trees. It was a gorgeous summer evening, and their photos turned out so beautifully!
The Day family was so awesome to work with. It’s really important to me that I capture your family in a real and authentic way. This means that it’s okay to let your hair down a little during your session. The Days were so good to just sit back and enjoy being together, which made it easy to capture their authentic personalities and relationships. They made my job so easy, and I am so grateful for such wonderful clients!
